Memory #001
The night was cold, a distant starry sky covered the expanse of the sky above, with the twinkling of orbital platforms and ships. A calming everness, split by the sound of sharp alloy striking against the cold stone walls of kindergarten 9A1. A lumbering column of metal and crystal positioned itself over its next host, its metal creaking into place, almost seemingly straining against gravity as its mechanical noise echoed throughout the empty canyon.
The resources within this slab of crust of Yellow 9 were identified by Peridots to be perfect for the next batch. Lapis Lazulis deployed to make precise excavations for optimal resources allocation per cut.
This section was a tender cut, a clean excavation for a new batch. A new batch for a new expansion. A new expansion for the ever perfect Diamonds.
And it begins, a whirring sound fills the air as the injector prepares the rightful act of blessing the imperfection of this soiled world with grace and perfection as per the Diamonds mandate.
> Necessary resources present.
> Data seed loaded.
> Diamond essence charged.
> Confirming injection.
> Received Hessonite authorization code.
> Injecting.
And thus the gift was parted into the ground, a gift that soon will be paid back in full and more, as is what is expected of those that receive any blessing of the great authority.
The first things I could feel, through my crystaline shell was purpose, and joy in that purpose. The tainted stone that surrounded me, heating up as it gives way to its last duty for the Diamonds– To let me out.
I can feel it now, the first in my batch, the future war leader of the authority, the handle to the sword that the Diamonds may weild to enact their justice in this infinite cosmos.
My form, spreading and pushing out, my weapon already primed in my hand, ready to provide a salute as my first act of reverence, and so I shall.
My ocular sensors kick in, as my path shatters forward, and I land pristinely on my feet, none being able to deny my purpose as an Emerald 9A1 (FILL IN). None that can even try, since there is no one in front of me, my vision adjusting rapidly to the dull and empty surroundings. Thus, a moment of respite, perfect to stand in correct form for retrieval by the nearest assigned Peridot (Author: Double check if this is correct), Perhaps even my Hesso—
Disturbance to my left, already? But there was no noise prior. Had something happened that would interrupt my await? Perhaps a chance to acquire an achievement early by slaying a trespasser. My weapons was ready and primed, I brace my form twisiting to aim at the first thing I see to my left which is—
Her.
End of Memory-001.
My first chapter, oh do I have the most devious of plots contrived for this story.
I'll be updating this chapter to a more fleshed out state with time, then I will publish to Space Battles, and have chapter 2 readied.
